Elizabeth Crawley had been pulled away from whatever she was doing and told to be in the Danger Room within half an hour. She would be told to bring whatever she needed to fight, a suit, weapons, etc. Bryton would be the only person in the Danger Room, alone, without Sebastian or anyone else.
Elizabeth Crawley headed right to the danger room, when the Headmaster requested her presence, her form clothed in her normal, street clothes, a blue teeshirt, blue jeans, and a her boots. The hat was left in her room, for she didn't feel that she needed it, this time. Light blue eyes searched the control room, after the doors whirred open. Once she spotted Bryton, she would step further inside, as she asked, "Mister Yorkshire, you vanted to see me?"
The Headmaster would turn to Elizabeth. "Ah, yes. Elizabeth. You've been chosen to participate in a very special Danger Room scenario. It will test the limits of your healing factor, your physical ability, and your creativity and restraint. Please step into the Danger Room," he would say kindly and encouragingly.
Elizabeth Crawley focused on the Headmaster, before she headed into the Danger Room, as she rolled her neck, causing a few pops to sound. Testing her healing factor, eh? She had wanted to see are far it healed from, howe good it was. She would do her best, and would attempt to as efficient as she good be.
The screen in the corner of the Danger Room would light up and come to life, Bryton sitting comfortably on the other side of the glass, smiling at her. Volcano Scenario activated, read the screen. Elizabeth. You are going to be in a volcano. Don't cause any sparks, be very careful. If you ignite the methane in the air, the volcano will erupt. You must also be quick and efficient, as it is going to begin to erupt before your eyes. Bryton's voice sounded. The screen disappeared, and the surroundings morphed into a black, red, and brown area, the smell of gas lingering within the air. Elizabeth had a little bit of time to prepare. [1/2]
Elizabeth Crawley's attention shifted to the screen, as she heard the Headmaster's words, looking around as the scene changed from the metal, danger room, to the volcanic scene. The powerful gaseous smell wafted to her, giving her that nauseous feeling, without being sick She assumed that, any average person would have been poisoned, at this point, but her healing saved her. Lizzie kept quiet, scanning the area, for what she needed to do, as she slowly took a few steps forward.
The scene shifted, as the ground quaked. In front of her, a fissure appeared, and lava flowed underneath the hot ground. Fire erupted from the fissure, and creatures rose from the lava. Creatures made OF lava. They each looked a little bit different, all 4 of them. The lava bubbled up and the methane seemed to thin out a bit now. From above dropped two things. An adamantium sword that could withstand the heat of the lava, and a gun, fully loaded. Use the gun wisely. It will cause the methane to explode if you shoot it...
Elizabeth Crawley jumped back, when the fissure appeared, body tensed, as she scanned the creatures, looking for anything that she might use for a weakness. Attention shifted to the weapons, hurrying to them, and taking them in each hand pointing the gun at the monsters. THe warning would be heard, as her brain went to figuring out a way past the creatures. Gaze shifted between the monsters and the methane, an idea coming to her. Gun was stashed in the waist of her jeans, sword gripped tighter, as she ran foward, leaping up, when she was at the right distance, aiming to land atop one of the creatures. If it was managed, the left foot would be on it's right shoulder, and the right foot, atop the left shoulder, Liz would swing the blade, slashing at it's hands, if they were raised to grab. Her aim: piss him off.
She landed on the one of the monsters, but she'd be quickly thrown off. The lava was real lava, and the monster was made completely of lava. If she didn't get off soon, she'd be in more pain than she could imagine. Most likely, before she was on that long, the monster would reach back and grasp the girl by her neck and fling her off of it, and then a ball of lava would be thrown at her. But something greater was beginning to build. [1/3]
Elizabeth Crawley felt the burning, on her feet, giving her the clue to jump on. When she landed, would notice that the bottoms of her feet her somewhat burned, and that she was walking on them. The rubber of the boots had melted away, because of her stunt. "Guess dat plan is oot," she murmmered, facing the lava beasts. There had to be a way. "Dink," she said outloud, as she surveyed the scene again. "Vhat if," she mumbled, before running to the one again, but this time, sidestepping around it, ducking when it tried to get her, as she whipped out her gun, pointing the barrel at it's back, once she managed to get behind it, pulling the trigger, as she attempted to run from the oncoming expolsion, hoping that destroying the creatures' food source, would defeat them.
When she pulled the trigger, it would make contact only briefly with the monster, and then the explosion would happen. The fire would consume all of the area, burning Lizzie, probably, and then the ground would quake, and lava would shoot upwards from all angles. She wouldn't feel the pain, as the Danger Room slowly became apparent once more. Danger Room mission failed. Read the screen. Bryton would come in and cock his head to the side. "I'm sorry, Elizabeth. You failed..."
Elizabeth Crawley smashed into the wall, her body in flames, as she fell to the floor. As the charred flesh started to repair itself, she heard the failed statement, heading to where she started, turning to face her now invisible foes, as she prepared herself, her skin almost completely healed, now naked. "I vould like anoder try, sir," she said, over her now bare shoulder.
The headmaster would move to kneel down beside her. "You can have another try in a while. You should rest now," he said, smiling to her. Sebastian rolled in with a robe and some water and towels. Then the Headmaster would stand up and offer his hand to help her up.
Elizabeth Crawley shook her head, when the Headmaster kneeled down near her, as the healing finished, her silver hair starting to grow back, flowing freely over her naked body. A hand would take Bryton's offered hand, using it to pull herself up, as she added, "I just need to figure oot vhat to do." Sebastian would be ignored, as she focused on to surrounding room, invisioning the volcanic scene, and seeing the lava beasts.
Headmaster would shake his head, "I'm sorry, I can't allow that. You need rest, and I must formulate a different scenario for you," he said apologetically. Then he would leave, leaving Sebastian with her.
Elizabeth Crawley watched the Headmaster leave, eyes shifting to the robot, narrowing her eyes. "Vhat do you vant," she said, her voice cold, colder than perhas the robot, as she started to walk by him, swing a hand to the side, and knocking the water and towels to the floor, "leave me alone, Tincan!" She didn't really respect the poor robot, never really requested anything from him. Liz would make her own way out of the Danger Room, along the hall, not stopping in her room. Instead, she sternly headed to the stairs, heading to the library, where she set herself up, pulling book after book, out, reading each in turn, still naked.
