Bryton Yorkshire would walk into the Danger Room, relishing the fact it was late and the humans were finally gone. He'd been looking forward to training for the day, for it was the only emotional release he had. He had to train at least once a day. He'd called Aira down as well, so he had to wait for her. He was wearing his fighting uniform, save for the mask because it was not necessary. He'd move over to the computers, type in the correct parameters then walk into the actual danger room, standing back in wait for Aira to arrive.
Airalina Seerhart wasn't suprised that Bryton had called her from her room, to the medlab. He relied on her for such things normally because of the lack of mutant students... sometimes Aira hoped to have such students soon.. or else she was gonna bruise. Wearing her uniform, with a wooden sword, rather than the one she used normally, she'd step into the danger room only to see none other than the headmaster all ready to go. His power always left her at a disadvantage.. he knew she was on her way.. either because of the clicking her boots made, or because he could read minds... either way. From inside her boot a dagger was taken from the sheath, and she stuck out her wrist, stepping into the fighting area.
Bryton Yorkshire would smile and not at Aira. " 'Ello Aira. I decided today we'd fight robots, to give you a break, eh?" He'd laugh a little, brightening up a little in the company of a friend. When she entered the area, he'd look over to the computer through the glass walls. The computer would make a small whirring sound, then the huge screen in the area would brighten up. "City Simulation activated. Wave one of Mutant Rioters spawned." It would call, as the entire room transformed into a city scape, much like that of London, and down the street the two of them would be able to see a large mob of humans, hundreds and hundreds of them. Brighton would crouch down a little, look over to Aira and nod. "Well, lets get to work, shall we?" And with that he'd be off, seconds passed before his feet lifted off the ground and he went flying towards the mob incredibly fast.
Airalina Seerhart was shocked that she'd be getting a break for once.. so he wasn't gonna use his powers to his advantage and shove her over with his telekinesis until she got pissed off? Well wasn't that just terrific! So instead of taking her position across him him, she wandered over to stand next to him instead, arms folded across her chest until the computer began to speak. The dagger was used to slit an incision across her wrist small enough so when she ran she wouldn't lose too much, but large enough to where it'd be effective. As the droplets began to run across her hand, she sighed, obviously a bit bored with this already. A second after Bryton took off, she followed along, with an exagerrated wave of the hand a thin trail of blood fell across the street and she skid to a stop in front of it. Grin coming across tanned face as she snapped her fingers, and immediately, flames seperated her from the humans.
Bryton Yorkshire would come head on into the group, suddenly surrounded with all of them. They started beating at him, and a few of them got a few good hits in. Bryton would breath in, and then suddenly a huge hole appeared in the group, as a pulse of telekinetic, telepathic, and cyberkinetic energy threw the enemies back. If Aira could see, she'd see a small blue dome appear for just a moment before diminishing. Bryton would start punching and kicking at the middle of the group, knocking close to 20 out in less than 10 seconds and now heading towards 30 already. A group of 10 of the armed men would head towards Aira, stand in front of the wall of flames and start shouting obscenities such as "MUTANT PIG" and the like. One had a gun, and held it out and starting shooting blind through the flames.
Airalina Seerhart acknowledged the flames were hot. She was immune to her blood.. not the after effects of it, but pain was something she'd learned to deal with, and so when the humans came and started harassing her, Aira just sighed, and laughed at their stupidity. Why? Cause she could see them, but it wasn't vice versa. Taking a few steps back, the sword was unsheathed with her unbloody hand, and she went to flip over the flames, landing in a crouch. Her right hand was waved at the others she'd landed in the middle of them, each getting spotted somewhere on their body, until she snapped her fingers. The spots on them glowed red for a brief moment, and with a crack, they all exploded, blasting holes through the body until they all fell crippled, or dead. The ones left standing would have her brains poked out by the wooden sword.. or beaten to death, whichever came first.
Bryton Yorkshire smiled, as this was what he was hoping to get. Bryton's body lifted into the air, a slight blue air about him as he spun around fast in the air, until he was about 50 feet in the air. He looked down at his opponents, and then a few of them would lift up and start whirling around like fans, taking out 2-10 people at once. He laughed to himself, the ragdoll image to comedic to ignore. After that, he would start swiftly decending, so fast, in fact, that when he reached ground level, he crushed one of the men. Then, once again, he simply started blasting through them with either a) powerful kicks and punches or b) powerful telekinetic blasts. Either way, the humans were getting destroyed. The only thing they had on the two of them was number. Aira would hear him in her head, Hold out your wrist.
Airalina Seerhart stopped using her ability for now, taking ahold of her sword and swinging this way and that, ducking under punches to the face, and leaping over kicks to the shin, even clever enough to disarm quite a few until their guns disappeared on the floor. Was she having fun? Who wouldn't be, beating up people was fun.. getting beat up, not so much. She only stopped her murderous intent when Bryton reached her in her head again. Well fine, if she were to be a weapon then so be it. Sword was replaced in it's sheath, and she uncovered the incision on her wrist which began to drop blood again until it reached her finger tips and she held out her bleeding hand. "Fine.. but be quick about it, I was beating people with a stick... not everyday you get to do so."
Bryton Yorkshire would leap into the air, taking out a one guy with a knee to the nose, and then she'd spin around for a second or two, her blood splattering onto 20 guys. She'd be put down, and she probably wouldn't feel too much of a dizziness. Bryton would land, only after two of the humans were crushed under the severe pressure of his telekinetic force being thrown downward. Bryton would breathe in, about to do a very powerful thing. He held out his hands, and literally, a line of guys fell, making a pathway to the frontline. Bryton was beginning to tire ever so slightly. The men fell from telekinetic and telepathic pressure, knocking them out or killing them. Bryton would fly towards the frontline, to join Aira, only taking him a second to reach it. He'd turn, and start helping her fight of the guys. But, the ground they stood on was beginning to shake...
Airalina Seerhart closed her eyes... cause she really didn't want to be spun around like a ragdoll. It was only when her boots touched solid ground again that she was capable of opening them again only to see she had blood splatters on several of the men. Eyebrow quirked as she snapped her fingers, each of them blown clean through, and falling dead at her feet. Aira snorted, and took the sword out from the sheath on her back. As soon as Bryton had taken it upon himself to join her, she went and tackled the nearest group of evil humans, using her sword, she jabbed a man in the back until he bent over, and she used him as a vault, and waved her wrist so she plattered the nearest group of 10 humans. Which were suddenly flaming, screaming their heads off, after a short snap of the fingers. The one used as a vault, stabbed through the eye with the sword that she planted on the ground when it began to tremor.
Bryton Yorkshire would turn his head to look in the general direction he felt the tremor coming from, which was a mistake, because one of the men took it upon himself to swing his club at the Bryton's back. He fell, calling out in pain. He turned over and stared up, as all the men started trying to attack him since he was down. He shook his head and roared as a telekinetic force exploded from him, 7 men being thrown 20 feet in the air, each taking out another when they landed. If they looked closely now, they'd be able to see a HUGE robotic thing parading around the city. It was looking for them. Bryton stood up and looked, and attempted to hack into the thing with his mind, but was unable. The Danger Room made everything harder. "Aira! I can't get into that thing, we're going to have to fight it off!" he shouted, punching one man so hard he was thrown back 100 feet, taking quite a few men with him.
Airalina Seerhart used her sword as a balance as she round house kicked the nearest guy behind her, and snapping his neck, only to throw him at his buddies when she was finished. "Bastards." She muttered, dusting off until Bryton began saying something about a robotic thing. Eyes wandered around the city until it was spotted looking for them. Was he serious?! If they had other students sure.. WHO THE HELL PUT A GIANT ROBOT IN THE SYSTEM WHEN THERE WAS ONLY THE TWO OF THEM?! "I don't wanna go anywhere near that thing without my fire arms!" She demanded , whacking the nearest guy in the neck with her sword, only to watch him fall with a loud crack in the neck. It as true.. maybe with her gun, she could stain the bullets in blood and start shooting and blow it up from the inside, but not when she didn't have them.. next time.. the guns were coming along.. she was not about to leave them back in her room ever again! No no no!
Bryton Yorkshire would shutter. He couldn't turn off the simulation now... without overriding the system. He was a little fucked. "I guess I set the parameters wrong!" He bellowed. The rioters were almost finished with, which was good. Bryton would take out 30 or so with a mental blast, leaving the last 10 for Aira. Then he'd focus he'd put his hands on his knees and take a breather, having used a lot of energy. "Do you want to keep going? I can shut it off..." He would say between huffs. She'd better answer fast, because it'd caught sight of them.
Airalina Seerhart took her sword and covered it in her blood as she threw it like a spear straight through one of the rioters. He fell to the ground as the others began to move around him. It was only when they all were close enough did she snap her fingers. In the corresponding explosion of her wooden sword did the other rioters die, and she sat back on her rump. "OF COURSE YOU SHUT IT OFF! I'm not fighting that thing without something better to fight with, and I just destroyed my sword." Pout face as she began to tie the bandage cuffs around her arm tighter to stop the blood flow. As long as she didn't uncover it, then within 5 minutes the wound would scab over, and she'd be just fine.. But right now she really needed to breathe.
Bryton Yorkshire would close his eyes at her command, then. And seconds later the lights would flicker and then they'd appear right back in the Danger Room. He'd stand up straight, smiling. "Good training session," he'd say a coy smile on his attractive face. "We can make you one that can withstand those explosions, you know. I'm surprised you haven't yet been offered it. We can have a sword specially made for you," he'd say, walking through the Danger Room door into the command center, reaching for a towel and a bottle of water.
Airalina Seerhart stood up and dusted herself off once the lights flickered and the robot was gone, leaving them in the danger room. That was fun.. but next time, make little robots.. or something.. easy things to kill when you have to worry about your only weapon breaking. "As always." She snorted. When WASN'T there a good training session? "As long as it's not against you I'm fine. You, sir, hold the key to beating me. None of my family has ever succeeded and yet.. here you are.. some person I met sometime last year, who doesn't even have to move a finger." She stepped out of the training area, running her fingers through blood red curls opening the fridge for her own water bottle, and placing a towel on her head.
Bryton Yorkshire would plop down in one of the office chairs in the Command Center. "But if I were to lose my powers, my dear, you would be on me in a second. Don't ever sell yourself short... And don't ever think yourself alone," he said, tapping his head. "Talk to Sandy at the desk sometime. She'll have an order sent out for an adamantium sword to be made. Might take a few weeks, but it'll withstand your explosions," he said, nodding and rocking back and forth for a second, taking large gulpings of his water.
Airalina Seerhart made sure to drink her water slowly.. if she ended up choking on it, that wouldn't be a good thing. "Sell myself short? Oh please. Professor.. I'm probably going to be the second strongest person within this school at all times. I'm not about to let my lifelong training go to waste and have myself be beaten by some kid." Even though she wanted to train these students, there was still some of that cockiness left in her from when she herself was a student. "An adamantium sword?" Booyah! "Meaning I won't need the steel rapier in my room anymore?" Well that was a shock.. she'd had it for years. But upgrades were always nice.
Bryton Yorkshire would nod and smile at her. "Well, good. I'm glad you feel that way," he'd say taking a few more drinks of his water. "I have to thank you, Aira. You've been so good here. This school wouldn't be the same if you hadn't come," he said, nodding and leaning back a little. Moments later a robot would roll into the command center holding more towels. "Thank you, Sebastian," Bryton said, taking the towels and setting them on the table. The robot would roll back out, and Bryton would give another smile to the woman.
Airalina Seerhart gulped down half of her water before placing the cap on it, and pulling at the collar of her uniform. "Well you're welcome, Bryton. I have to thank you for allowing me to be who I really am. At the last school I was just an assistant.. and I had to hide who I really was-- Though we're required to do that now, it's not all day.. and some students will learn of our identities soon enough." When the robot came in, she just watched it.. she didn't need another towel. Instead she was gonna get out of this uniform and maybe take a shower. "Sebastian is such a common name for a butler.." She stated simply, turning back to Bryton when the robot rolled out.
Bryton Yorkshire would nod to her and lean back, throwing his head back, staring at the ceiling for a moment. It was getting late, and he was getting tired, as was his player. "Unfortunately, the world demands we hide ourselves. But, a place like this is what London has to offer, and I hope it does as much good for the students as it does for me," he'd say, sighing. He'd perk up a bit. "Well, I'm not that creative," he'd say sarcastically, giggling a little. "Hmm... It's getting late, no? We should get to bed. We have jobs." He'd say, laughing a little.
Airalina Seerhart had her towel across her shoulders as she tossed her bottle up and down in her hand flipping it around for her own amusement. "Yeah yeah.. I know the rules. Which bites. We save lives and still, everyone fears us.. well fine. If I can't punish them, no one ever said I couldn't torment their kids." There was a wicked gleam in her eyes as she turned around, and headed out of the danger room. "Good night, Headmaster Yorkshire." She called over her shoulder, before retiring for the night to her bedroom.
Airalina Seerhart wasn't suprised that Bryton had called her from her room, to the medlab.
