Refining Danger Room Sessions, or maybe even Power Danger Room Sessions, are being put into place. The idea is credited to the dream member who plays Nieve Caida.
Everyonce in a while, a character will be chosen ICly (you request to do it OOCly) to participate in a very special Danger Room session. Staff members will have OOCly chosen three different events that will happen during this session, each one challenging the character more. Based on the character's powers, we will try to design a challenge that will really be something that makes both the player and the character think, and is pretty difficult.
The best part of it all is just this: It'd be a GREAT way to help your characters develop their powers and they will be stronger by the end of it. It allows characters to become more advanced with their powers, and it also gives them skills ICly that will make them stronger.
An example? Lets use our resident Librarian, Penny Shadley! She's a telepath, as well as telekinetic? What will she be most weakened against? Androids, naturally, for they don't have minds that she can affect. This leaves her completely vulnerable to robots, and only able to use her telekinesis.
She'd face something like this-
See? Simple.
To volunteer your character for this, just whisper one of the staff members and tell them which character you'd like to use.
Staff will have to moderate these RPs, meaning you can't do them and have them count without a staff member there. You can see an example in the Plot Related forum. These RPs will allow your character to develop more control, and some new ways to use their powers.
One character cannot do one of these too often, at LEAST a month apart. From these, one new development can be made. Maybe your character learns to fly using their mutation, etc. Combat skills will also be refined.
Don't bug staff about these. If your character has been waiting for a while, it's because we're trying to create a scenario for them.
Any questions? Post on this thread.

She'd face something like this-
- She's placed in a small factory that is filled with robots and is forced to fight them. The first wave consists of spider-bots which explode when near her.
- She has to navigate through the factory in order to get out. She must go forward to get out.
- She fights a boss-droid that is more powerful at the end, while also holding off waves upon waves of the spider-bots. If she wins, she can escape.
