Fayette Velsharoon had been sleeping... and eating fruits or vegetables she felt like nabbing from the fridge all day, because that's what she did when not bothering Tristan to cook her something. That is... until he told her to pack a backpack and get ready to go back home for a visit? Something like that? Taking a visit to their homes during Spring when a break was so near, wasn't a bad thing right? That, plus, Tristan had to go visit her dad. Fay resolved by now that she would let him go alone, and spend the day away from home if she had to- Maybe with Vicento and his fiancee. Dressed in a pair of pale blue jeans with a stretchy waist band, and a baby blue elbow sleeved t-shirt with the layered collar, Fay stepped outside, baggie gray hoodie thrown over her arm. Stepping outside onto the porch, her gold eyes stared up at the stars. It was sort of late... This was probably so they would make it to France by the morning, in time to get to his brother's house before the 'adults' had to go to work.
Tristan Chevalier had been terribly worried, when he had laid eyes on a recent issue of the Herald, seeing his love's face on the cover, along with his own. The wanted ads scared him; not because he might be returning to a tank, but Fay's was going too. Not to mention, what if this was the scientists that kidnapped them before? They would definately want to experiment on the child that Fay had inside of her. Tristan couldn't bare the thought that the child would grow up in a lab. So, as he waited for Fay on the outside deck area, he were loosely fitting jeans, and a blue teeshirt. As soon as he laid his eyes upon his girl, He shoulder his black duffelbag, and stepped over to her, giving her a quick hug, as he said, "We better get going," as he took her by the hand, and started to walk away from the school, "I cleared our leave with Ms. O'Rourke. She put in ze necessary forms."
Fayette Velsharoon spotted Tristan standing there and smiled brightly. Today she wasn't going to allow her horomones ruin their night together while traveling. She hadn't seen the Herald, because she never payed attention to the newspaper, but if she had, it would have made everything worse. Setting down her hoodie, she revealed her baby bump, to her it was normal, she saw it everyday. Putting her arms around his neck, she stood up on her toes, and kissed him on teh cheek. "Okay. We can get going, zen." She held him in her arms, relinquishing the fact that with the expansion of her belly, it would put more space between them in due time. After letting go, she grabbed her hoodie, and her small suitcase and followed after him.
Tristan Chevalier walked along with his girl, semi tightly gripping her hand, as he kept an eye out for anyone acting suspicious, being all to careful. As they walked awhile, he realized that he was being a bit quiet, so he said, "Beautiful night, isn't eet?" When they arrived at the bus station, he walked Fay to the counter, presenting their tickets to the man. When the tickets were punched, Tristan would lead Fay onto the bus, choosing a row that was close to the back.
Fayette Velsharoon didn't like how Tristan was so quiet... there was a nagging sensation in the back of her mind that something was wrong, maybe he knew something she didn't? Fay shook her head, he wouldn't do that... Would he? He was probably just nervous about talking to her dad, that's all. Her thoughts were building up to suspicions as she stared at the ground, her fingers tightly wound around his. She only snapped out of her reverie when he spoke up, and she looked at him. "Wha? Oh, yes. Very pretty." She stared up at the stars again, completely unawares that this would be the last night they'd see together for a while. Yet there was a nagging feeling in the back of her mind that told her to enjoy it while she could, so she listened to it. The whole time, she kept close to his side, and smiled at the man who punched their tickets. After their luggage was tucked away, she sat next to him and wound her arms around his. She was content... until the nagging craving in the back of her mind made her want a chocolate bar. Usually it would be no big deal, she could live without it, but pregnancy cravings made a person cranky, and she really didn't want to be cranky. Tapping Tristan on the shoulder, she looked up at him, and flushed. She felt like an irresponsible little kid. "Tristan, I hate to ask- but my money was left in my suitcase which is under ze bus, so... could you get me a chocolate bar? Normally I wouldn't ask but... zere are some cravings zat just can't be ignored."
Tristan Chevalier hadn't told Fay about the paper, simply because he didn't want to worry her about it. She had enough to worry about. He was quite relaxed, his arm around Fayette. He was just closing his eyes, when he felt the tapping, opening eyes, and looking at the girl. "Of course, my love, I will do anyzing you want," he answered, getting up, from the aisle seat, "what kind do you want?" When he got an answer, he would walk to the front of the bus, telling the driver that he needed to get something from the concession stand, and got off the bus. He had quickly moved to the stand, ordering Fay's requested bar, paying the money for it.
Petronius de Lato Vado had been trailing the Breton's students for some time now. After Petro heard of the rumor that the lab experiments could have found refuge at the school, he thought he would earn some more money and get his hands on them. The rumors were true, however getting to them was hard... One was never without the other when they were out and about the house. Even now.... He was standing in line, about to buy a ticket for their bus-- where ever it was headed, before he saw one of the mutants step off. A grin spread across his pale face, silver slitted eyes twinkled with cruel glee at the prospect of the tortures they would endure, and the reward he'd get for bringing in their two most important experiments. Pulling up the collar of his black, long sleeved trenchcoat, Petro stepped up behind Tristan. Ducking, acting as if he was tying his shoe, he pulled out his twisted silver dagger, and stepped to Tristan's side, poking the knife at his ribs, hidden by their shadows. "Look what I caught." He whispered. "Two perfectly healthy mutants. You're known as MW-II, am I right? And she's MW-I. Your girlfriend that is, the one you knocked up." Petro wrinkled his nose, but it wasn't in disgust, he was smiling. His sharper-than-normal canine teeth visible. "You sly dog."
Tristan Chevalier felt the knife tip poking at his ribs, and heard the words of the bounty hunter. This was exactly what he was afraid of. Tristan attempted a quick side glance to his enemy, before he spoke in a whispered voice, "I gues zat you are here to catch us? Can I make a deal with you?" He asked, his mind on Fayette, and the baby, wanting them to stay safe. "If I go with you peacefully, can you let her go? If you don't zen you would be codemning an innocent child to life in a lab..." he explained, hoping that he got to the man.
Petronius de Lato Vado's silver eyes glanced around at the people buying tickets, snacks, sitting, or even boarding the buses about to take them to their destination. Petro acted, and looked as if he was talking to a new friend, who just happened to be on the bus he was gonna get on, but that wasn't the case at all. "Make a deal with me?" Petro snorted. "You're in no position to make a deal, but I'll hear your proposition." He listened and thought it over... Hadn't the scientists said to tread carefully when it came to these two? With their abilities, they could be highly dangerous, and due to failed experiments, it was never known when they could activate. He didn't know what those powers were, but it'd be better, a horomonal pregnant woman could be a problem if she fought, because then her boyfriend here would rebel too. He seethed, and pressed the knife harder against Tristan's side, careful not to pierce skin. "I was an innocent child too, you know, but no one ever cared what happened to me. Fine. I'll make this deal with you. Leave the pregnant woman alone... for now." With that, Petro would roughly nudge Tristan in the direction of the road. "Say hello to medication again." He muttered, mostly to himself. "That new drug of yours will be out of commision for a while anyways." Judging by how often they were around, it had to be that... something about her presence must have kept him wanting to stay off the medication those scientists used to give him.
Tristan Chevalier waited, for the answered, relieved when the man agreed, but he said, "Zank you, I'm going to send ze candy bar to my fiancee..." he said, as he handed the bar to the person that had just ordered. Tristan would focus hard, on trying to send the thought of Fay to him, telepathically telling him to giver Fay the candy, and to tell her that he wasn't coming. The stranger was also to keep Fayette on the bus. He didn't know it would work, but he started to walk along, whereever Petro would walk him.
Petronius de Lato Vado's eyes narrowed as he gave the candy bar to the guy that just left the concession stand. If they had spoken, he payed no mind to words said-- not that words were said, but if they were, he wouldn't have heard them. After the short conversation transpired and he was ready to go, Petro put the dagger back into its' holder and hailed a taxi. Roughly nudging Tristan into the cab quickly, he'd climb in, and tell the man to take them to the airport, and get away ASAP. "If we don't get out of here quickly, I'm not sure what that crazy bitch'll do." He muttered darkly.
Tristan Chevalier got into the taxi, after being nudged inside, as he glanced at the bus, that he was supposed to be on. The man that had Tristan's message, would get on the bus taking Tristan's seat, and handing the candy to the girl, as he told her the message. The driver would close the bus doors, starting the trip the France. If Fayette tried to get up, the man would push her back down, in her seat.
Fayette Velsharoon had pulled on her gray hoodie, her hands tucked into the pocket with her hands on her baby bump. She was staring at her lap, just waiting for Tristan to come back so she could lay back in his arms and nap the whole way home if she wanted to. Fay didn't look up until a man came and sat in his seat beside her. Blinking, she thought that maybe he was sent to her while he used the restroom, but her hopes were crushed as soon as the message was relayed to her. Instantly, gold eyes flooded with tears, and she was about to get out when she was pushed back into her seat. "No- You don't understand, I need him." How could he just stick her on a bus and leave? Was he getting sick of her, because she didn't spend as much time as she used to with him? Were her horomones getting on his nerves? Thinking he may not want to talk to her throughout the whole pregnancy made her upset, and yet she couldn't bring herself to hate him or the baby. Staring out the window, she desperately looked for him through the crowd of people. There was the occasional flicker of gold from her eyes as a person stumbled or moved aside a few steps as she sifted through them, but it was hopeless so she turned back to the man beside her, and clutched his sleeve with shaking white fingers. "Can you at least tell me where he went?"
