Full Name: Harley Mary-Anne Brenton.
Alias/Nicknames: Ginge.
Age: 15.
Birthday: 20th August.
Heritage: Irish
Hair: Bright orange, wavy, shoulder length.
Eyes: Green, her pupils dilate to point that they're not visable when she's under the influence of her mutation.
Body Type: Average/Slim. Short.
Attributes: Freckles on her nose, cheeks, arms and shoulders.
Personality: Confident (not to be confused with cocky), generally friendly, sweet and short tempered.
Family: Mother; Aoife Brenton. Father; Charles Brenton. Siblings; Dominic Brenton, Peter Brenton. (All NPCs).
Relationship Status: Single.
Occupation: Student at Breton's Academy of Higher London.
Mutation: ~
Production of electricity ~ Producing electricity takes tons and tons more effort than it would to manipulate it and if her power is over-used, it can cause her to blackout for days, possibly weeks. She is able to produce enough electricity, in one go, to power a single lightbulb for roughly an hour, exceeding that would cause a massive strain on her body and result in black-outs.
Manipulation of electricity ~ She finds it far easier to alter the flow of electrical currents or to bend bolts of electricity at will- though only to a certain extent. For example, she would find it near impossible to manipulate a bolt of lightning, but far less difficult to manipulate the energy produced by a battery or mains plug socket. She can also use her manipulative abilities for defencive or offensive purposes.
Conduction of electricity ~ She is able to conduct reasonable sums of electricity through her body, though by doing this, she runs the risk of accidentally damaging her organs or stopping her heart.
On occasion, she has been known to give off small, electric shocks to people who touch her.
(Any minor mental or physical strain that using her mutation has on her body is gradually lifted with sleep, much like recharging a battery).
Strengths: She can 'tinker', in that she can fix or improve electronic appliances. She is also a very skilled dancer, in ballet, modern jazz and street, though she prefers to keep that a secret in order to keep her 'Irish image'. She is ambidextrous and generally very skilled with her hands.
Weaknesses: She is hot-headed and can often let her temper get the best of her. She is 'weaker' when she's away from electrical appliances or sources of electricity; for example, she would be very vulnerable in the middle of a woodland.
Brief History: She was originally born in Cork, Ireland. She lived there up until she was 10, when her parents unfortunately divorced, after frequent arguements regarding their 'abnormal and dangerous' child. Her father was then granted custody of her, much to her pleasure, and her brother Dominic chose to stay with their father. Peter, however, decided to stay with his mother in Ireland. Harley and Dominic, along with their father, then moved into a house in St. Albans, just outside of London. Her father is a well-known and sucessful electrician, though Dominic is less renouned, although her works along side his father. Since moving to England, she has frequently attended public schools and dance lessons in order to occupy herself and will often accompany her brother and father during jobs in order to learn other, more useful, skills.
Attire: (When not in school uniform or dance gear).
Top ~ White, long sleeved.
Bottoms ~ Pink, yellow, green and blue floral high-waisted skirt.
Shoes ~ Brown leather, millitary-style lace up boots.
Other ~ Brown leather satchel, knee-length white socks, a single silver charm bracelet.
Character Description: > t h a t ' s electric! -- Ginge was what she went by- for obvious reasons; she didn't really fancy the name, but it stuck pretty well. Wavey tresses were of an auburn variety, left to dangle about her shoulders and frame her lightly freckled face, whilst shockingly green eyes stood out from behind her overgrown fringe. She would often be dressed in floral-print clothes of some description, or her school uniform, paired fittingly alongside leather lace-up boots and a satchel. The student was branded by her easily distinguished Irish accent, which added a certain spark to her otherwise regular appearance.
