Saeth dashed into the building, knowing his assignment. He dashed through the crowd, so quickly he looked like a blur of purple and green. Powerful legs drove him through the door and he dove into the massive pool. Barely a splash would be seen. The water would be fairly murky, due to a mixture of rubble and dust from the door he kicked in, and Saeth's on innate nastiness. He began to circle under the water, ripples barely made. Now he had to wait for his prey.
Fayette Velsharoon had heard the alarm while she was off in Language Arts class. First thing she knew, the teacher was there, next thing, she wasn't, and the whole school was in disarray! "Uh.. uh.." Fay got up, brushing off her school uniform, and ran to the door. Students had started running and screaming for the exits. Something was terrible wrong here! Under her beret gold eyes searched for something off.. And then she saw it.. a flash of green and purple no one seemed to realize. Brows furrowed as she quickly, but quietly made her way to where the pool was. There she stopped, took a deep breath, and opened the door... Nothing there. "Hello?" Kicking off her shoes, she stepped in. "Hello? I know someone's in here... listen, it's against ze rules to pull the alarm. If you're a new student.. it's okay to be scared, but it's NOT okay to cause havoc!" Still nothing.. "Where'd zat person go?"
Elizabeth Crawley had gathered with the other students, into the main entrance, watching the commotion, before she spied something heading to the pool area. Liz wasn't sure what it had been, but it was purple and green, and probably wasn't anything good. She had to find out what it was. Spotting Fay head there, she followed her friend's lead, running off into the pool room, skidding to a halt, next to the french girl, blue eyes searching for the creature, as she replied, "He might not be very friendly," in that germanic accent of hers.
Saeth didn't have to wait long for prey to find its way to him. Reptilian eyes would peer through the hazy muck of the waters, gently swimming closer to the edge where the two stood. He looked between the two and calculated the one who entered first to be more worth the effort. But how could you really judge a mutant? The massive prehensile tail shot from under the surface of the murky water, attempting to grasp her ankle. If he succeeded he would attempt yank her down into his domain. All that awaited her down there was venom and razor teeth and claws.
[#] The speakers on all the walls crackled with feedback before a boy's voice, and older boy, boomed about. "Attention students. Mutant attackers have invaded the school. There is a mutant in the pool, 2 mutants downstairs in the subbasment, a mutant in the front hall, and a mutant in the garden. All are hostile," Leon's voice said. Then he silenced himself.
Fayette Velsharoon squatted down by the poo, smoothing out her skirt,l and looked into the depths.. She could see something moving down there... But she wasn't sure what. Then Lizzie came in. Fay shook her head. "No, no, Lizzie. I don't zink zat's ze case. He's just angry, and scared.. I zink zis person is scared because of his experience. But if we show zem zat we here at Breton's care.. well then.. that could make a world of a difference." But then Leon's voice came over the intercom. Fay looked up and listened, eyes widening. Hostile? Oh no.. Stepping up, she was about to step back when the reptilian tail caught her leg. Fay sucked in a big breath of air, and was about to scream when she was suddenly pulled under. The french girl flailed, and tried to swim back. She had to get out of here!
Elizabeth Crawley searched the area for any sound or sight that possibly could be a sign of the intruder, hearing both Fay's and Leon's statements, which confirmed her thought. Attention was back to Fay, as she was sucked under the water, diving in after her. legs pumped faster and faster, pushing her through the water, attempting to grab Fay, to pull her to the surface.
Saeth felt the woman's weight give under his pressure, and would soon feel the vibrations of the splash. He got his victim, as he always did. A moment later he would begin to drag her to the deep end of the pool. Soon after that he would feel a second vibration and realize the other was attempting a rescue. Normally he could have out swam the other with ease, but he was slowed due to the weight of the person and the fact that he was unable to use his tail to help propel him. Soon the other caught up and the would be in a tug-of-war of sorts for the french woman. He was surprised with the others strength. She was stronger than he. He released his tail and would soon grab the prey with his arms, leaving his prehensile tail free to attack the rescuer. Tail was launched like a torpedo to the red-heads neck. Why not take out both at once?
Fayette Velsharoon thrashed around in the grip of the lizard's tail, as he gold eyes pleaded, staring longingly at the surface. Then, her vision faded, and the white light above the pool brightened, until she saw faces.. not actual faces, the illusions of the scientists who dropped her into the tank and held her under when they hooked her up to their machines. She thrashed about more until her eyes changed, they glowed a bright gold, nothing else seen. No whites, no pupil, just the solid, glowing gold. When she was grabbed by his arms, Fay used her telekinesis to attempt and pry them off. If successful, she would raise from the water, and and land back on the surface, dragging Lizzie with her. If unsuccessful, she'd attempt to use her telekinesis to throw him against the wall of the pool away from Lizzie, even if he DIDN'T let go.
Elizabeth Crawley would have tried to hold unto the french woman, as long as she could, before she release her hands, moving them to grab the tail, on it's way to her neck. If she managed her maneuver, she would attempt to yank on it, though she knew she wouldn't have has much leverage, as he would.
Saeth felt the french woman go momentarily limp, thinking he finally got his prey. Sadly, he was disappointed. A moment later he would feel as if massive hands were trying to push him away from her. Hands dug deep, trying to resist her, but he could not. His hands would go free and his attention would then go to the woman who had his tail. If he could not get one he would get the other. He did not bother resisting the tail yank, he merely swam beneath it then behind her. "Got my tail?" Would be heard in his wheezy voice. Hands would reach for her neck, claws extended. If he got a hold of her he would begin to choke the life out of her for a moment before his jaws opened and were sent her way. He would do this regardless if Fay dragged the pair out of the water. He was relentless, that was for sure.
Fayette Velsharoon stood at the edge of the pool, her eyes still bright gold as she stared at the water, brows furrowing as he picked up her beret and put it back on. Fay held out an outstretched hand to Lizzie, but instead of squatting to try and grab her, she used her telekinesis, and lifted the pair out of the water. "I've got you Lizzie. I won't let you go." Her voice sounded faded, like she was dreaming. This was yet another flux stage of Fay's power, and she wasn't consciously controlling it, she was just doing what her gut told her to do. Lifting her other hand from her side, she pointed at the lizard man and closed her palm. If successful, he'd feel an invisible squeeze around his middle like the invisible hands were trying to squeeze his guts out. Said telekinesis would try to pry him from Lizzie, and if unsuccessful, the squeezing feeling would only creep up to his throat, and bind him completely. "Let her go."
Elizabeth Crawley felt the lizard man behind her, and then a clawed hand closed around her throat, hands moving to try to pull those fingers away, as she gasped, air bubbles rising to the surface. Legs were waved around, before they were lifted out of the water, trying gasp for air, as her wind pipe was being crushed.
Saeth did not relinquish his grasp, his fingers grasping harder as the french woman did the same with her powers. He hissed for a moment "Won't let you go." He whispered in the french woman's voice. The only thing that made it different was the slight wheeziness at the end. "Got you. Won't let go." He whispered again into Lizzie's ear, still in the french woman's voice. Golden reptilian eyes then went to Fay. "Let go." He repeated once more in her won voice. He was only repeating what he heard her say before. He understood basic words.
Fayette Velsharoon rose into the air and hovered in her spot at eye level with the two hovering students she had carried out of the water. When Fay heard her own voice, her furrowed eyebrows only twitched in irritation. "Let her go." As she spoke, the strangle hold she had on the lizard only tightened until his breathing would be difficult. Fay tested his flesh and prodded at it with her telekinesis to test how much she could squish him before he broke. Her powers had completely taken over. Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to do this.. Not only had Saeth triggered the flux in her abilities, but he triggered her battle personality. "Lizzie. I'm sorry.. Hang on." Fay turned the pair over, so the reptile was back up, hanging onto Lizzie over the pool. Fay threw him up rapidly against the ceiling. "Let." Another throw. "Her." Another throw, this time, from the surface of the water. "GO!"
[#] Feedback sounded once again, and Leon's voice sounded. "Leader dead. Hostile mutants still in the subbasement, the garden and the pool," he said. A crack and pop later, the announcement ended.
Elizabeth Crawley would struggle in the lizard's grasp trying to be released, before her body finally stopped moving, as she went limb. Lizzie thought that if she could feign death, he might release. As Fay threw the enemy around, Elizabeth's body was tossed around as well, almost like a ragdoll. Emotionless. And dead.
Saeth held his grasp as he was tossed around for a moment or so. He didn't need to breath. He could hold his breath for hours, but it was a new kind of pain. Right before she said "GO!" He would open his mouth wide and shoot a glob of his corrosive venom towards her with amazing speed. The stream of the snotty yellow liquid would be accurate. He hoped to either hit her and disable her, or get her attention off of him long enough to escape, hopefully with his freshly killed prey over his shoulder. Well, he thought was killed anyway. He did not relinquish his grasp on Liz if only for the reason that he though she was the only thing keeping him from being killed.
Fayette Velsharoon nose wrinkled in disgust at the lizard man as she threw him against the ceiling over and over again, but he refused to let Lizzie go. "I'll kill you. With her in your hands or not, I really will! I tear your body in half." Then he spit the venom at her. Fay's glowing gold eyes widened as she tried to duck. Except the french girl's movements were too slow, she got hit in the hair and it stuck. Fay made a face. "Groooooss!" And her grip on the lizard slackened to give him more wriggling room, but she didn't fully put him down as she began to brush her fingers through her hair. Her face looked worried... Lizzie was in danger and she was failing!
[#] Bryton ran in through the double doors, still dressed in his business suit. He was sweating, and he was near tears, but he was hear. His voice resounded throughout the entire school. The Headmaster has arrived. was all he could make out before he caught wind of the closest battle and made his way to it.
Elizabeth Crawley flopped around, as he clutched her neck, waiting, waiting, waiting, until the opportunity to strike, made itself apparent. If she was put on the lizard's shoulder, bones in her spine snapped, as she forcibly broke her back, backwards, hands clenched into fists, as she attempted to grab the guy's face, prying the lizard's mouth open, and attempting to push her hnd into his mouth, push the hands as far as she could.
Bryton Yorkshire ran into the pool area, eyes glowing blue. Fay would turn, her face suddenly solemn and lifeless. Her eyes glowed the same color as his own. Bryton was taking control of her. She lowered to the ground. Water from the pool splashed onto her head as Bryton tried to wash off her face and hair from the spit. Then Fay's power would aid Lizzie in her attempted attack, as Bryton did his best to make this thing go down simply and swiftly. I'm sorry, Fayette. I must.
Saeth watched as someone burst into the place, his attention removed from the lifeless corpse he held, or so he thought. A moment later he would feel the spine snap and would turn to her, his jaws forcible opened and hands dug into his throat. He wasted no time, the acidic spit ejected into the woman's eyes. He didn't have too much of his reserves left, but he needed to use it. If that were to stop the woman and the pair were dropped, from Fay's attention elsewhere, he would not hesitate and flee. He was too unprepared. He could handle one, maybe two if given more time but three? That was impossible.
Fayette Velsharoon was having a hard time trying to pry the lizard from Lizzie. Her brows furrowed in irritation. She wanted to clench her fists, but she could possibly kill him, and even though Fay was in complete battle mode, her conscience told her she would regret killing him later so she refrained from doing so. "What? Professor! No, don't hurt him--" Before she knew it, Fay was pushed into the unconscious part of her mind and it was like watching someone else control her powers and her body from the back of her mind. Fay watched, her glowing gold eyes turned blue to match Bryton's, as her hair and uniform were soaked again, the skin on her scalp and forehead burning even before that... Now she just had to sit back and watch.
Elizabeth Crawley felt the sting, as the acidic spit splashed into her eyes, immediately closing them, as a reflex. When she was dropped, she would lay there, fo a moment, and she tried to see. Realizing that her sight would return soon, she work to work, bending her spine back the way that it was supposed to be, and slowly stood up. Head would turn, left and right, checking that Fay was alright, before she took off after the beast man.
Bryton Yorkshire let go of Fay, and turned to her. She'd been calmed and her powers put under control. "Forgive me, Fay," he said. "I had to utilize your powers," he said. He stopped Lizzie. "Let him go. He'll get what's coming to him. For now, stay here. It's safest," he said.
